Volunteer Position
Volunteering does not mean that you will be chosen.
All volunteers are chosen based on final assessment of student body size, combining experienced people with non-experience people, and gender count.
Apply for a Counselor Position
Group Leader - You will stay each night with a group of students matching your gender. You will be responsible for general supervision, leading prescribed activities, scheduling, and keeping attendance.
Rotoract/Interact Club Member

If you are a first time counselor, you must attend training prior to the event. The time and location will be announced when and if you are selected.
I agree to attend a mandatory training prior to the event. Time and location will be determined at a later date, but is typically held within three weeks of the start of RYLA (usually there is a virtual option as well).

You must arrive at 2:00pm on Thursday afternoon (3/30/23) and stay until all staff activities are concluded approximately Sunday (4/2/23).
I agree to arrive at 2:00pm on Thursday morning and stay until all staff activities are concluded on Sunday (Approximately 1:00pm). If you are driving students from your area, you must make arrangements for showing up later.

GENERAL HELP POSITION
I will volunteer for general help
Volunteering for General Help may mean that you will be asked to perform tasks ranging from, registration, carrying luggage, carrying supplies, organizing filing, paperwork, moving chairs, acting as a liason between staff and students, etc.
Day volunteers are mostly useful on the first day and the last day. Please let us know if you have any physical limitations.
